1. Who we are

This website (stephenwilson.africa) is operated by Stephen Wilson, a designer-engineer trading as a sole proprietor in Johannesburg, South Africa (“the Practice”, “I”, “me”). Contact: stephen@stephenwilson.africa.

2. Agreement

By using this site you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Intellectual Property and Non-Reliance Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

3. What the site is for

The site presents my work, my approach and how to get in touch. It is a portfolio and a point of contact. It is not a shop, a tender document or an offer to contract.

4. No offer, no engagement

Nothing on this site is an offer. Any commission, consultancy, licence or supply of work happens only under a separate written agreement signed by both parties. Until then no engagement exists, whatever has been said in correspondence.

5. Enquiries

If you send an enquiry through the site or by email you confirm that the information you give is accurate and that you are entitled to give it. I may decline any enquiry without reasons.

6. Use of the site

You may browse the site and share links to it. You may not copy, scrape, frame, mirror or republish any part of it, use it to train or feed an automated system, interfere with its operation, or use it for anything unlawful.

7. Third-party links

Links to other sites are provided for convenience. I do not control them and take no responsibility for their content or their handling of your information.

8. Availability

The site is provided as is. I may change, suspend or remove any part of it at any time without notice. I do not guarantee it will be available, error-free or free of harmful code.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or anything in it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under South African law, including under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where it applies.

10. Changes

I may update these terms. The effective date at the top tells you which version applies. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

11. Law and disputes

South African law governs these terms. The courts of South Africa have jurisdiction. Where the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 requires disclosures, they are made on this page and in the Privacy Policy.
