Intellectual Property and Non-Reliance Disclaimer

1. Ownership

Everything on this site — designs, drawings, models, photographs, text, names, marks and the site itself — is owned by Stephen Wilson or used under licence. All rights are reserved, including copyright, registered and unregistered design rights, and rights in trade marks and get-up.

2. Photographs

Some photographs are the work of independent photographers and are used with permission. They remain the photographers’ property. Credit where shown is part of the licence. They may not be reused without the photographer’s consent.

3. Client and collaborative work

Work shown for clients, brands or collaborators is shown to illustrate my practice. Showing it does not transfer or waive any right, and any rights held by a client are governed by the agreement with that client. Marks and product names belonging to others remain theirs.

4. What you may not do

You may not reproduce, adapt, manufacture from, reverse-engineer, distribute or commercially exploit anything on this site without my written permission. Publication here is not publication into the public domain and is not a licence.

5. Non-reliance

The site describes work and methods in general terms. Dimensions, materials, finishes, tolerances, load capacities, processes and costs shown or implied are illustrative. They are not specifications, not engineering advice and not a warranty. Every project depends on its own brief, materials, site and use. Do not build, buy, specify, invest or make any decision in reliance on this site without a written engagement and your own professional advice.

6. No warranty

Content is provided as is. I do not warrant that it is complete, current or fit for any purpose. To the extent the law allows, I accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on it.

7. Enforcement

I take infringement seriously and will act on it. If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, write to stephen@stephenwilson.africa with details and I will look into it.

8. Permissions

Requests to use any material — press, publication, education — are welcome. Write to stephen@stephenwilson.africa. Most reasonable requests are granted; the point of asking is that the answer is on record.
